James G D Paul aka Pablo is a writer and designer based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Born in Guyana, James distinguished himself not only with his love of writing, but also in football.
Pablo rekindled his love of writing while hospitalised with a rare and incurable auto-immune disease – Behcet’s Syndrome. Poetry and story-telling became his therapeutic outlet and over a period of two years, the prolific Pablo would pen approximately 600 poems and publish six books, including his first novel – My Poor Dad, a didactic biography of his life in rural Guyana as the son of an addicted father. His second novel – Behcet’s in Black: “A Spiritual Journey through the Turbulence of a Chronic Enigmatic Disease” - will be published by Publish America in the fall of 2008.
Pablo's inspiring and thought-provoking free verse poetry has been recognized by the League of American Poets and the International Society of Poets.
His company, JGP Holdings LLC launched Poeteez.com in the spring of 2008 offering an eclectic array of tee shirts, polos, headwear and fashion accessories designed by Pablo. His vision is to make his poetry accessible to all and so his collection represents a piece of his literary work in fashion. You can read his writing on the
